There was land & water, rocks, mountains, springs and rivers, volcanos and delta's. The piece is made in the tranquilizing, well known color palette so often seen in landscapes and therefor used in art for centuries. Liked by so many people, these colors of nature.

This ever lasting state of earth and water makes us just passers-by, in time. These awesome landscapes can make us feel very small and insignificant. Will the planet finally erase the traces of human life, the traces that are now destroying so much of nature. Can the earth turn back to this pristine, overwhelmingly beautiful state?

A deep respect for the natural equilibrance the planet once had, is what this work is about.
