By travels to Spain, Italy and a residency in Mexico Femke's fascination grew for Nopales, the succulent and how they deteriorated. In landscapes and on shores tiny plastic particles are found that enter constantly the natural matter. Things may look natural, but it is impossiple to distinguish what is natural, what is synthetic in this Anthropocene era.
