In 2021 Femke was a keynote speaker at What Design Can Do in mexico City. After her talk she hosted a workshop in collaboration with Centro School of Design, for fashion students. Upcycling their out of style, no longer wanted jeans was the goal. The students created awesome designs in just 2,5 hrs , that show the beautiful, strong and reusable material jeans is.
